Default i lost 2 lbs!

after being 264 for weeks i am now a 262 ! im so happy! i even had some binges last week! i just didnt give up despite the problem days!

gee all you have to do is not give up...nice

anyways i just needed to

(dramitic pause)

"tell the world!!" (imagine drag queen dramaticly swishing a scarf around neck and storming off proudly in over size sunglasses)

Having a bad day on a diet and giving up is liking saying "I tripped on a stair, I might as well just throw myself down the rest of them".

Congratulations, mathpuppy.

I struggle often, and have some really bad days. I read with wonder at the members here who seem to get straight on course and stay there, and say they've changed. I am still struggling with the same issues I always have, but the only difference now is that after a bad episode, I pick myself up, dust myself off, and begin again. I am making progress overall, and that is the important thing.

Congratulations math puppy!
And battleax, that is how I've changed. I still "cheat" or eat something off plan every week at least once, usually more. But it's usually just one thing, and I am right back on plan afterwards. I guess it satisfies my need to be "bad." I do not guilt myself over it, or give up, thinking "I just can't do this!" or justify more indulgences. I think that makes all the difference and sounds like you have made that change too. Like my signature says, it's a journey, not a destination. I will never be perfect. But my diet will be as healthy as I can make it.
Life's a journey, not a destination.
It's easier to stay on plan than to get back on plan.
