GirlyGirl - Good job! I know how darn hard it can be not to think of food as a treat/reward. Maybe the next time you're in Target and you deserve a treat/reward, you'll go buy yourself a a new magazine or cd or hair tie. And that's a treat you'll enjoy for a whole lot longer, and with no guilt attached!

Made cookies for the kids again. resisted ALL temptation. Last night watching TBL, I brought with me 3 cups plain popcorn (NO SALT, NO BUTTER) and 1 cookie.

That cookie is still sitting on my nightstand. I think I have an illness because I'm tempted to leave it there as a reminder of my old "binging" days.

Cheers, Ginger

Today I went to see a new doctor for my infertility. In the past I have put things like this off due to my weight but we've been here only one month & now I'm on a plan again to hopefully get this baby thing moving along. Fingers crossed this will do the trick!

Hey Rhonda - you did deserve a treat!! Maybe next time you'll pick up a new lipstick, or a small accessory as a reward! And way to go resisting the temptation.

Last night, before bed, my hubby told me he thinks I haven't been snoring lately. And then very gingerly says, "maybe its because you're losing weight?". Of course it is!! Poor guy. It was never said outloud, which let me continue to deny that my being overweight was hurting someone I love.

My NSV..... No More Snoring!!!

Last night, I was really upset about something job-related. I received an email, which I took great offense at. I was angry, frustrated, and offended. BUT. . . I did not reach for food! I called a friend and vented to her. It didn't solve my problem of being upset (I'm still angry this morning!), but I did not binge. No emotional eating last night is a HUGE NSV for me.

Today will be my last day of 2 weeks out of the office - and 2 weeks of eating lunch out every day! Other than once, I kept to my plan of various types of salad with grilled chicken! I thought it was going to be boring, but each restaurant had their "take" on it, with different additions, or different marinated chicken that changed the flavor of the whole thing. Added bonus....I felt so much better in the afternoons without all that heavy food laying in my belly

This morning on my walk with the dog I took her suggestion (which she gives every time) to take an additional little side road & lengthened my walk by about 10 minutes. It's taken me years (poor pup) but I think I've finally made this walk thing a daily habit!

That is great. Good for you, good for the dogie. Enjoy, walking is good for us.

I eat about the same thing for lunch everyday. My gosh, lunch without tuna and a salad and cottage cheese is a day without sunshine lol. Glad you can get things back to normal. The snoring could very well be lessoning or even stopped all together. I had sleep apnia very badly. I would jerk awake and all kinds of other things. I no longer do that.

That is wonderful. Recognizing the things that cause us to eat and being able to control that is sure a big step forward.

That is very nice. Others notice before we do our selfs I think. Bet you smiled.

I am now fitting into clothes that were too tight before. I went to a school to tell stories this week (I hadn't been there for a year) and they all congradulated me on my noticable weight loss. YAY.

Yesterday I bought a package of bras at PriceSmart but wasn't sure they would fit. But they did - size L!!!! They're sports bras that I intend to wear over my current sports bras with the hope it will eliminate the bounce - lol!
