Just a few progress photos...
 

I cannot believe that I am actually posting my picture for "all" to see!!! As some of you maybe can relate, I have always ran from cameras due to the shame of being overweight. However, it helps me to have a comparison of photos so I can see that I am making progress. It also provides motivation for me to keep on going until I get to goal. I actually cannot wait to post my photos at 100 lbs lost!! :lol:

Thanks so very much to all my 3FC friends who gave advice, inspiration, motivation, tips, "tough love," etc. in the year 2007. It has truly made all the difference for me in my life. I am really a different person this Christmas than I was last year (as you can see in the photos).

The first photo was taken Christmas 2006. The second photo was taken October 2007 at 65 lbs lost. The last two are from Christmas this year at 77 lbs lost. Wow...I'm amazed at the difference.

I am just doing the old fashioned plan of counting calories and fat grams as well as eating more whole foods (cutting the processed foods as much as possible, though it isn't always possible for me 100% of the time). I also try to get at least 30 minutes on the treadmill 4 days a week - but I plan on increasing that after the first of the year (when things settle down again).

P.S. I know just how incredible you must be feeling and I'm just so very happy for you. Though losing weight is one of the most difficult things to do, it is also one of the most rewarding and enjoyable and worthwhile things and I'm just so very happy for you. Oops. I said that already. I can't help myself. I just LOVE hearing of people's success.

Thank you, Robin! Your story, help, advice, etc. have been HUGE parts of my success!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! :hug: :hug: The funny thing about this is I still FEEL like I'm really big. I will be glad when my mind catches up. Of course, I don't want to feel "satisfied" until I get to goal, so maybe it is a good thing to still feel this way? At least I won't feel like I can relax and eat everything if I know that I still have a ways to go.
