I have BED (binge eating disorder) which I spent about a year going once a week to a pyschologist that specializing in eating disorders. It was a tremendous help and really helped address the underlying issues about why I was binging. I would definitely suggest seeing a professional (most insurance companies cover some of the associated costs).
