Default Back and Bummy exercises

I was just wondering if any of you would like to share their most efficient and favourite exercises for back and bum.

Squats and lunges are great for toning and strengthing the lower body. For the back I like back extensions. I prefer using a machine or you could lay face down on the floor and do a superman pose. I also like dead rows and one arm bent over rows using free weights.

Hope that helps.

Deadlifts ROCK! Also try bridges...you know...lie on the floor on your back with bent legs and feet on the floor, and push your hips/pelvis toward the ceiling.

Back extensions, deadlifts, wide stance squats (target glutes more) and walking lunges are my favorites. And don't be afraid to lift heavy!!

I use the back extension machine everyday and love it.

Thank you so much - I'm starting from today

Also....thanks for reminding about that "superman pose" exercise - now I remember we used to do it very often back in primary school at the corrective exercise classes! It was working wonders! Back muscles were really toned
