Default I actually enjoyed the doc visit today...well, kinda.

I made an appt today bc my nose has been bugging me, turns out, I have a sore in my right nostril from taking allergy meds causing my nose to dry out. It is painful, somewhat feels like a coldsore or a pimple would, only it's on the inside of my nose. Anyway, to the good news.....So, I go in the doc today and do the whole weight, temp, blood pressure thing ( BTW is 132/80 good for blood pressure? ) I get weighed and I weighed in at 260 even. Was a little bummed bc my scale read 258 today, but a number of things could of caused a 2lb difference, water, my lunch, etc....but them I asked the nurse if she could look back from the last time I was at the doctors to see what I have lost since I was trying to lose some weight. She said sure she could look that up. Now my last appt was the end of Sept for my annual checkup. She looks it up and it says WOW, you really have lost some weight!! You weighed in at 276 the end of Sept!!

I was pretty happy walking out of the doc office after knowing what I had lost.

Yay!!! Good job I can imagine the "high" you got from the nurse

Yeah this is the time of year when I get the sores in my nose from having so many damn colds. Blowing my nose again and again... using saline drops to help clear it... Everyone once in a while I'll bump it and it brings tears to my eyes

That is great news! So, have you considered updating your ticker?

Thanks everyone!!
you mean like changing my starting weight to 276? Or my end weight to 260? I go by my scale at home, and that is a little difft than the docs office, plus anything could of triggered my gain a bit like the water I drank all morning and afternoon....as far as the starting weight, I might, only bc that is the start of my journey, but put 266 down as that is what I weighed when I joined this great site.

which did you mean though?
