  • Although I have been struggling the past few weeks with putting the pounds I lose right back on, I feel that I am getting squishy. Like when I poke my stomache, it goes in a little and is squishy instead of plain ole hard from fat. I dont know about you guys, but I like "gettin sqishy with it."

    Anybody else?
  • That's funny.. I have noticed that my skin is fitting me a little less snugly.. kinda like the sausage isn't stuffed quite so tightly into the casing anymore...
  • Yep, my tummy looks like it has a slow leak.
  • Yeah, I noticed this too, but I don't like it at all! It really bothers me. It makes me wonder if it is all going to deflate and leave the skin all hanging like that. Oh I sure hope not... I want the skin to firm up!!

  • Before I started noticing the loss at all that was the first thing I was able to really notice was that squishy feeling. I kinda like it though because it means there is ROOM in there where there was once fat. It took until about 40lbs for me to notice any difference visually, so it was nice to have some prior confirmation that it indeed was changing something.
  • Yeah, I'm a little squishier.
  • Omg!
I was just noticing that this week!! I have cut the sodium in my diet and cave up diet soda with the cafeine. The swelling I would get is gone now. I noticed that the first deflated and squishy area is my boobs! Okay, I wanted them smaller but flat and squishy was not what I was thinking of. And the belly is getty squishy too. When I sit on the toilet it seems to sort of pool in my lap. What's with that? Yuck. I haven't even lost all that much yet. What will I look like later? I'd better start saving up for the lift/tuck/suck that I'm gonna need later.
  • Definitely!
  • Will the squishiness go away with further weight loss?
  • I'm really firm. My arms and legs are getting pretty hard. I lift heavy 6 days a weak, so I know that's why. I'm kind of worried because I still want to be soft. There is a difference between being soft and squishy. I just associate it with being womanly I guess, which is probably the wrong way to look at things.
  • I've always felt squishy.
  • Yup. I keep playing with my squishiness!
  • Hah like Kim I'm feeling firm under the squish. It's actually kinda cool shows that all the exercise is working. Nice to feel there will be a body under there! seriously all that Turbo Jam has really done wonders.

As far as if it goes away I have noticed that it doesn't seem as much the more I lose not sure if it's because the skin has snapped back a bit or there is so much room it just doesn't translate that way in my head maybe I'm just used to it now?
  • Well... This is a two part answer so... Yes and No.

My arse... I tell ya! My arse is a definitive no on the squishy scale. It's firmed up wonderfully but now you can really see the cellulite dimples from the wrong angle. LMAO!

My thighs, mummy tummy, the area on my upper arms near my arm pit... Even my hips seem to now have a bit of squish.
