So good to see people have made their xmas goals! CONGRATS!

I also have good news to report, I made my goal last weekend. I have started a new job where I work the night shift, so I don't get online much anymore but I still wanted to share.

I lost 20 lbs. thanks to this challenge. Now the real challenge begins for me. The first 86 lbs. weren't that stressful for me, but the last 40 are going to be terrible. This night shift work has taken a big toll on me. I barely have any energy and I'm eating a lot more than I used to. I've lost 1 lb. since I started working there, other than that, I'm just maintaining. This has got me stressing out pretty badly.
But I'm going to take it all in stride! On the positive side, I have lost a lot of weight so far, and these last pounds will just come off with harder work and more time.

I hope you all have a merry xmas and a happy 2008.

CONGRATULATIONS to all who made their Christmas challenge goal and really to all who lost anything... a loss is better than a gain anyday and especially at this trying season.

I did meet the goal to lose 15 lbs (actually made it to 18 lbs lost) but my personal goal was to lose 23 lbs which I did not make... oh well, I'll take the 18 lb loss and keep plugging along... looking forward to the Valentines challenge.

Great job, Gina! I agree, any loss at all is a great accomplishment and something to be proud of! I'm proud of you!!!

I am glad you are joining in the Valentine contest as well. This seems to add a little fun to the chore of getting our excess weight off. See ya on the thinner side!

I'm happy to say that I flew in last night and weighed in this morning and I weigh 238.5. I beat my goal by 1/2 a pound. Wow! That's 16.5 pounds from when I set my goal. I could NOT be happier!
