Hi all, I've got some stevia glycerite, and I want to use it in recipes. I have been unable to find a conversion chart. Does anybody know how much stevia equals a cup of sugar (or ANY recognizable measure), or what would be a comparable amount of liquid splenda?
The website for the stevia glycerite mfr. was the first place I checked. Zero useful info: "Add 3-5 drops to a cup of tea or coffee. For use as a nutritional supplement." Not exactly helpful. 3-5 is an awfully big range, even assuming I could translate that to, say, a teaspoon's worth of sweetness, which I would certainly not count on.
thanks, Gale, I did the same google, but stevia concentrate or stevia liquid are not the same thing as stevia glycerite. I found stevia concentrate or extract or liquid or powder/granulated all over the place. Stevia glycerite is apparently a different sort of critter altogether. I give up. I'm just going to experiment until I get it right. Thanks for trying to help! I apparently bought the only truly wierd form of stevia.
