Default I exercised today! Week of 2/18-2/24

Thought I'd get the new thread started . . .

Today I ran 4 miles (yay!) and did a 60-minute yoga DVD with my husband.

Can someone please kick me in the rear so I can get consistent with exercise? I've only been averaging 2X per week, and I really need to be doing cardio 4-5x per week, along with some strength training. I'm just being so LAZY! I don't know what my problem is.

I am holding off on the heavy stuff again, I went to do one of the exercises the other day and got a golf ball size knot right around the right side of my rib cage. I took that as almost doing something BAD and stopped immediately. I will keep on my walking everyday for a couple of weeks before attempting the weight bearing stuff again.

OK... got back in the gym this weekend (after a week out due to bad weather, undriveable roads and TOM) Saturday I did 45minutes elliptical, 30 treadmill (alpine pass mode, my new fav) 20 stairmaster 30 weights. Yesterday I did 45 Alpine mode on treadmill, 30 elliptical. Not sure what I'm gonna do to day but I've got an hour this morning so something good I hope!

Today I did 55 minutes on the elliptical.

Tiffany, you just have to force yourself at first. Seriously, it becomes an addiction after a while! So force yourself to put in those 4 to 5 times a week of cardio, and after a while you'll crave it. I always heard people say that but I didn't believe it until it happened to me!

Today I did 60 minutes on my bike again..........I have to say some days I still have to push myself to get on the darn thing, and other days I can't wait.........but overall I just feel really proud of myself when I can say I did it..........so just keep pushing yourself, you will get there!!!

Thanks Lisa and Marion!

I forced myself this morning and did WATP. I feel so good. I love how much energy exercising in the AM gives me. I'll just focus on that. Tomorrow I will get up early and do Turbo Jam.
