Mrs. Quadrew, you definitely will surprise them. I'll have to tell my DH to get me an ATV when I reach goal. I'll tell him that one of the ladies on 3fatchicks said we have to start riding. I know we would use it around here, we own a campground on 66 acres.
WOW - a campground??? That is like our dream ~ to own one of them near a riding area. (we like WV a lot so we'll probably end up down there) YEP - You definately need to gets some ATV's!! Where is your campground?? Maybe we'll come and stay sometime!
Well, I'm at my WW goal, but not my personal goal so I guess I still qualify to answer this question. I really, really want to be a size 8, or at least an extremely comfortable 10. I can get into size 10, but most are just too tight so hopefully 15 more lbs. and a lot more muscle will put me where I want to be.
I have three items in my closet that have become my official goal pieces. Actually, there are several interim goals, but these three stand out the most:
1. Size 11 corduroy pants in I wore my sophomore year in college in a lovely dark color. They are thin chords which were very popular in 1985. Haven't been able to wear them since then.
2. Size 10 linen shorts I wore in Law School. I lost 20+ pounds my first year in law school and then wore these shorts over the summer. They are the smallest size I can ever remember wearing.
3. Size 8 black & green tartan skirt I bought in college thinking I could lose enough weight to fit into it. Never even came close.
All three are in the back of my closet, along with plenty of sizes 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, etc. I will wear them all again one day.
Haha, your closet sounds like mine... I won't have to buy new smaller clothes for a LOOOOOONG time.
I am looking forward to buying a strapless dress. On the odd occasion when I am forced to bear my arms (being a bridesmaid etc) I've always felt dreadful and put a shawl around me as soon as possible. This year I want to go to a Christmas party in not just a short sleeved dress but an actual strapless one!
I can't wait to wear green cargo pants and a snug black cami- a little athletic a little sexy... all me. ^-^ I want clothes that fit my personality; sometimes I feel like I have to wear someone else's wardrobe because nothing is "me." We will all make it.
Not being embarrassed when my husband asks me to dress a certain way for bed. That is a HUGE deal for me right now. Whe he asks, I just kinda whine my way out of it because of the embarrasement! He is very supportive, but I will love it when I can actually do as he bids. I also will enjoy/do the following:
1. Getting in and out of booths easily.
2. Ride roller coasters with my boys.
3. Hike and camp out with my boys and husband.
4. Shop in ANY store I please, from Goodwill to Dillards.
5. Buy pretty underclothes instead of "gramma" stuff. (No offense to anyone...it is just that I'm wearing what my grandma wore in her older years. I'm too young for that).
6. Feel confident in everything I do (this is a HUGE issue for me at present)
7. Keep a humble and caring attitude toward others who are overweight.
8. FINALLY have self-respect!
9. Be rid of inferiority complex.
10. Have a reunion with my 3FC friends!!!! YAY!!!!

Plain old jeans, worn in at the butt and knee, comfortable and soft, I miss those jeans!! Being able to pair them with a tank top or girly tshirt instead of pairing my pants with a mens xl or 2xl tshirt!
I know how you feel. I am naturally very large chested, and was at a young age. People tell me, "don't worry they will go away when you lose weight" but for me it's not true. They have always been there no matter my size.
When I lost weight the last time I was very uncomfortable with the new attention. People have literally pointed at me.. guys pointing at my chest.. sounds crazy but it's true. I wasn't used to it and I ate back into comfort.
