Default Back to REALITY for me tomorrow!

yes, i'm one of those lucky bums who took this week off as well It was a great break AND i managed to only pack on 2 lbs over the holidays, so I'm not too upset about it....however, tomorrow I'm back at work, where I'm the FATTEST person there -- even my boss, a big 6'3 guy who wants to drop some weight cuz he's 250!!!! is 50 lbs LIGHTER than i am!!! How insane is that?????? I think somewhere deep inside my brain, i see the 311 lb. on the scale and somehow think it's all a big conspiracy LOL, i'm NOT that big, no way! or that when I went to dinner with my friend & her husband, and she said she weighed 110 and he weighed 200, the fact that I weighed a POUND MORE than the TWO OF THEM PUT TOGETHER wasn't really true...it couldn't be right???? OMG the delusions I was living under!!!

SO, back to work tomorrow, and I have this ready!!!
my breakfast (instant low sugar oatmeat & banana)
snack - low fat turkey & low fat string cheese
lunch - homemade soup, 1/2 sandwich, fruit, sugar-free jello yay!
snack - few peanuts
dinner - chicken breast, big salad, rice, green beans & carrots
snack - some air popped popcorn

I can live with that I just have to keep reminding myself that "although your jeans are a teensy tiny bit looser now, you are NOT Heidi Klum JUST YET!" hahahah SO I put a pair of size 20 jeans (which seem IMPOSSIBLY SMALL TO ME NOW!!!!) over the back of the door of my bedroom so I see them every single day, and I try them on once in a while -- especially when those "my pants seem smaller, I'm gonna have a cheeseburger " moments hit

Trazey, glad to see you here. I love this site -- I love that everyone will share how they are really feeling about things -- because, boy am I there too!

I, too, am always so shocked when I see pictures of myself. I don't feel like I am QUITE that big ..... but, I have two daughters-in-law (size 2 and size 6) that were gracious (hmmmmmmm) enough to include me in all the wedding pictures. What an eye-opener. One picture has a horrible side view............. I look 20 months pregnant in that. I'm tired of being the biggest person in the family. I weigh about 15 pounds more than my hubby....

I'm new to this site, and I think my only goals this week are going to be drinking lots of water, getting in more activity, and staying away from my beloved ice cream. Even if it does not make a difference on the scale, I know I will be 7 days healthier.

Here's hoping that you have a lot of fun with your plan this week -- and because of that, you will feel very successful! Barbara

Hi Trazy!

Your food plan sounds EXCELLENT! I'm going to copy you because I have all those ingredients in my fridge right now!

The jeans thing really works! I have my dress for my son's wedding right out in front in my closet so that even when I think that I've done pretty well already, it can remind me to KEEP GOING!!! The tangible piece of clothing hung in plain view really helps!
