Shrimp and Squash Pasta

recipe ingredients
2 Tbsp. olive oil
4 cups yellow squash, thinly sliced
3 cups zucchini, thinly sliced
1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lb uncooked pasta such as penne
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

recipe directions
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add squash and zucchini and saute 10 minutes. Add shrimp and saute 3 more minutes. Add lemon juice, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic; cook 2 more minutes or until shrimp are done. Combine all ingredients in a large serving bowl.

    My family loves this! I change the wine to broth and let them add their own hot sauce since the family has different spice tolerances.
