Extremely good! We used red instead of green peppers, and it tasted fabulous. My husband really liked it as well. It will definitely be a dinner item added into our normal rotation!

Recipe is wonderful. I made a double batch and then added a can of black beans. They only added and extra 5 calories, 20 g of sodium and negligible amounts of total fat, protein, fiber and carbs. They added no saturated fat. You could probably reduce the calories by adding more corn and beans and less turkey. You still have the substance. I also offered taco shells in place of buns. Even with adding in a little cheese and letuce, the calories come out a little less. While making a double batch, I used one jar of medium and one jar of mild salsa. It gave it that extra kick. I also used a como of green, yellow and orange peppers as I didn’t have enough green. It made it that much more colorful.

This is very good! The leftovers warmed up very well and almost tasted better than the previous day.

Wow! I’ve always been a big fan of traditional manwich sloppy joes since I was a kid, and I didn’t think this would be able to come close.. but it actually tastes really good, and I cant believe its so low calorie!
