recipe ingredients
4 cups 2% low-fat milk
2/3 cup Arborio rice or other short-grain rice
2/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup raisins
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

recipe directions
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low; cook 50 minutes or until rice is tender and mixture is creamy, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

    had a dinner party Sat night and served this in champagne glasses with nf cool whip, delicious, and elegant. Very easy to make, just keep stiring.
