Lemon Sherbet

recipe ingredients
1 lemon
1 cup sugar
3 cups skim milk
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup water
1/8 teaspoon salt

recipe directions
Carefully peel rind from lemon, do not include any white pith. In a food processor, add rind and sugar, process until rind is minced. Pour into a bowl. Add milk and next 3 ingredients to sugar and stir well. Pour into the freezer can of electric ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturers directions. Spoon into freezer safe container and freeze at least one hour.

    This was really good! I made it as an alternative to my mother’s delicious but incredibly rich lemon ice cream and everybody agreed that it tasted just like a lemon chill! I will defintely be making this again!

    On all these yummy frozen deserts can they be froze by just placing in the freezer and stiring every couple hours or do they have to be made in an ice cream maker because I don’t own one :’( but really want to try these recipes :D xxx Pls comment
