recipe ingredients
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 Tbsp. water
2 large egg whites
1 1/2 cups finely crushed reduced-fat Ritz crackers (about 35)
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
Cooking spray

recipe directions
Combine shrimp and cornstarch in a zip-top plastic bag; seal and shake to coat. Combine water and egg whites in a bowl; beat with a whisk until foamy. Combine crumbs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dip shrimp in egg white mixture; dredge in crumb mixture. Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray; lightly coat shrimp with cooking spray. Preheat broiler. Broil 5 minutes or until shrimp are done, turning once.

Serve with seafood cocktail sauce.

    this reciepe sounds great but i can’t have all the salt

    This recipe is fantastic - I bought large shrimp and they were perfect. I also used egg substitute instead of the egg whites and water. This would also be good with homemade tarter sauce - chop up fresh garlic dill pickles and add little light mayo and lemon for a variation on cocktail sauce.
