Broiled Plum Tomatoes

recipe ingredients
8 plum tomatoes, cut in half lengthwise
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 Tbsp. fresh oregano, finely chopped
4 tsp. grated Romano cheese

recipe directions
Preheat broiler. Place tomatoes cut side up in baking dish. Spread garlic over cut half of tomatoes. Sprinkle tomatoes with oregano then Romano. Season with pepper. Broil until tomatoes are tender, about 5 minutes.

    This is a simple, delicious way to enjoy tomatoes. I serve them with everything. I make them in the toaster oven and avoid the broiler completely. As a Weight Watcher member, this is a great way to keep my points in range.
