i actually have used this recipe but a little altered. if you freeze the strawberries first you don’t have to put the ice in. i also use only 1 cup of skim milk and it cuts down on points and tastes just as good. awesome taste and fill up.

I altered this a bit. I used 1 cup of frozen strawberries -50 calories, 1 bananna-107 cals. 1/4 cp. Non fat Vanilla Yogurt - 50 cals., 1/2 cup Vanilla Soy Milk - 50 cals. and 1 Tbsp. of flaxseed- not sure what that means in calories but I know it’s healthy. It makes 16 ounces. Total calories 257. I consider 8 ounces a serving. It’s a thick smoothie and tastes super yummy.

Just started making Smoothies and this one is DELICIOUS! So easy to make. Just like a strawberry milk shake. (Well almost) I had this for lunch and was not hungry at all through dinner time. Great for a dinner meal too. No late night snacking urges.

This will be a regular addition to my diet program.

I added a few fresh spinich leaves, honey and granola for crunch. I’m not big in veggies and love love love sweets so this worked out for me.
