I was off and woke up late so I didn’t really have breakfast.
Lunch… tofu with mexican spices and a little cheese and a banana… 300
Dinner… 2 asian veggie burgers… 2 servings of steamed brocolli with a a little butter and a strawberry lowfat yogurt… 470
Snack… a large apple with one serving of peanut butter… 280
… then later on I snuck 3 orange slice gummies… 150
Miles walked… 4… and I very slowly jogged for about the last quarter of a mile of it.
Calories… about 1435
Breakfast…. Cheerios and skim and a banana…. 250
Lunch…. 2 veggie “grilled chicken” patties, one slice of lite wheat, one cup lowfat peach yogurt, an apple…. 435
Dinner…. 2 veggie patties and 2 slices lite wheat w/ ketchup…. 280
“Snack”…. a little bit of hummus and pita and a diet coke and rum while out with a friend….. 370ish
… then 2 orange slice gummies when I got home…. 100… I wanted sugar so bad! ugh.
Miles walked… 1 or 2 while out on the south side of Pittsburgh with my friend.
It was a lazy day in terms of excercise, and my food choices weren’t 100% great. It was nice to have a day to relax though. Weighing just over 320 pounds and walking 4 miles a day makes your feet hurt!

Breakfast… Cereal Bar… 140
Lunch… Taco Bell Bean Buritto… 350… I know… not the greatest choice… but once a week I am alowing myself to forget my lunch and get a bean buritto at taco bell
Dinner… Stirfried tofu and sugar snap peas with curry…. lowfat organic yogurt for desert…. about 440
Snack… after I walk I always am hungry! haha…so I’m going to have an apple… 100…. it will bump my calories up over 1000. I know it isn’t good ot eat late at night… but oh well.
Snack #2…. I was feeling… woozy. I need to hit at least 1300- 1500 to not feel sick at the end of the day… I had a peanut butter sandwich to bump me up… I feel better. 155 calories (2 slices low calorie wheat bread [35cal per slice] and 1 Tbsp. peanutbutter.
Some days I am having tons of trouble reaching my calorie level. I don’t want lack of calories to slow my weight loss. Yar.

Breakfast: Cheerios w/ skim milk and one of the buckeyes I made for the bakesale (hehe) 350?
Lunch: i black bean burger plain, one cup lowfat organic yogurt, one apple 350
Dinner: Mexican seasoned tofu and one serving lima beans 650?
Miles walked today…. 2….. but I also danced my booty off at the bar for at least an hour… so even though I was drinking that’s gotta count to hehe.
Additional calories were added at the bar last night. I got a little intoxicated. Mainly drank diet coke and rum. I let myself slide because we were celebrating my birthday (which is really Monday).
Went to IHOP at 4am after the bar to. Had 1 egg and 1 and 2 pancakes

Also, I was lazy today and didn’t walk. After walking 4 miles a day for the past 3 days, I felt like I needed a break. I was also really fatigued today. I am a recreational therapist at an alzheimer’s assisted living facility, and I took a group of my residents to our local aviary today. It wore me out!
So…. I ate a lot and was lazy today!
But…. I finally got the scale I ordered online and weighed myself for the first time since I’ve been dieting and walking. I’ve lost 18 pounds in a little over 3 weeks. I totally was not expecting it to be that much. I thought maybe 10. But I feel good, and I am so psyched that I am off to a good start.
I also realize that 800 calories is not enough for one day. The past several days I had been eating around 800 calories and I was full, but by the end of the day I was dragging. Last night after I walked the 4 miles I felt weak. So I am going to aim for somewhere between 1100 and 1500 a day. My doctor recomended 1500.
Tomorrow I definitely need to walk at least 3 miles and eat high in protein. This weekend is going to kill me foodwise. I’m going out to a favorite dance club with a few friends tomorow night and I know I’ll be having at least several drinks (we are going to be celebrating my Birthday which is Monday). Hopefully I’ll get several hours of dancing in though while I’m there. Sunday my parents are taking me out to Mad Mex for my Birthday. The marinated tofu enchilada that i know i will get is probably more calories than I want to know about!

Lunch…. 2 boca burgers (no bun) w/ ketchup and an apple……. 230
Dinner….. 2 small slices of pizza (my parents bought it for me… I would have eaten healthier for dinner otherwise)…… 500? I’m really proud of myself for only eating 2 pieces. Pizza is one of those dangerous foods for me. There were times when I would eat like 5 pieces at a time.

I went 8 laps around my block (which is .5 mile). I went the “hard” way tonight to, which is the direction I go that makes me go up the big hill. When I go the other way I go up two smaller hills and go down the big hill. I’m really proud of myself for making it 4 miles tonight. I told my mom that i may only do a mile or two, and I ended up doing all 4. I feel really good to ![]()

I went to the Highland Park Reservoir with my friend Candice. We walked around 3 times (2.25 miles in all)…. then I came home and walked another 1.75 miles.
I feel great.
