Calories eaten today….. 1500ish?

Breakfast…. Cheerios and Skim Milk…. 150

Lunch…. Peanutbutter sandwich on whole wheat, a banana, and a lemonade juice box…. 480

Dinner…. 2 small pieces of pizza (leftover from last night)… 500

“Snack”…. 2 of the peanutbutter buckeyes I made for the bake sale at work tomorow… I couldn’t Resist….. 300-400ish?

Also, I was lazy today and didn’t walk. After walking 4 miles a day for the past 3 days, I felt like I needed a break. I was also really fatigued today. I am a recreational therapist at an alzheimer’s assisted living facility, and I took a group of my residents to our local aviary today. It wore me out!

So…. I ate a lot and was lazy today!

But…. I finally got the scale I ordered online and weighed myself for the first time since I’ve been dieting and walking. I’ve lost 18 pounds in a little over 3 weeks. I totally was not expecting it to be that much. I thought maybe 10. But I feel good, and I am so psyched that I am off to a good start.

I also realize that 800 calories is not enough for one day. The past several days I had been eating around 800 calories and I was full, but by the end of the day I was dragging. Last night after I walked the 4 miles I felt weak. So I am going to aim for somewhere between 1100 and 1500 a day. My doctor recomended 1500.

Tomorrow I definitely need to walk at least 3 miles and eat high in protein. This weekend is going to kill me foodwise. I’m going out to a favorite dance club with a few friends tomorow night and I know I’ll be having at least several drinks (we are going to be celebrating my Birthday which is Monday). Hopefully I’ll get several hours of dancing in though while I’m there. Sunday my parents are taking me out to Mad Mex for my Birthday. The marinated tofu enchilada that i know i will get is probably more calories than I want to know about!
