and so it all begins!  weight 158.

Meal Breakdown for day 1    (02/11/13)

Breakfast- black seedles grapes, 1 banana, strawberries

Lunch- salad greens, shredded carrots, grape tomatoes, zucchini, 1 cup pinto beans, lime cumin dressing (homemade/oil free)

Dinner-1 cup vegan poblano and bean chili, 1 cup steamed broccoli, salad

how i am feeling- 7- i have had a migraine all day and I think its because i did not have my usual 4-5 cups of coffee lol.  I wanted to try to cut caffeine cold turkey but i think i made need to do it slowly cuz this migraine is kicking my butt.  only goes to show how toxic caffeine can be. u don’t here anyone even complain about getting migraines cuz they went without their morning dose of juice or carrots lol.  I reread ETL and he states that we can have max 1 cup of coffee per day so i may implement that rule to help deal with the withdrawal.

Epiphany….. I’m Fat! February 5, 2013

Hey All!

Let me introduce myself.  I am Ava, 27, living in California with the hubster.  I am starting this blog to help me tackle and record my progress as I journey to lose approx. 30 lbs give or take.  A little over a year ago I suffered a sports injury  which sidelined me for about 5 months.  Right before that I injured an tendon = Epic Disappointment. Prior to the injuries, I had begun an amazing workout regiment, achieved many PRs and a new level of fitness that I had never been able to reach.  After the injuries— i really let everything slide.  I ate horribly, didn’t work out and became the Queen of excuses.

So here I am,  30 pounds from where I used to be and finally ready to put in the work to get the old me back. My goal is to drop from 160 to 130.   I hope to achieve this by implementing the Eat to Live program with 5 days of working out.  I just received the book in the mail and hope to start the program next week.

Until next week!!
