McDonalds Porridge (plain)

Couscous, cherry toms, butter beans, Quorn pieces

Banana

Lime & Coriander Rice

Exercise:

45 min walk / 5917 steps (would have been a lot longer walk but forget my inhaler so had to turn back).

Walked at lunchtime (first time in 3 years….)

Spinach & pea soup, piece of bread, 3 satsumas

2 small pots Alpro Soya yoghurt

Finally over the swine flu and chest infection so went for my first walk of the year. Legs ache but I feel good for doing it :-)

Bowl of shreddies and semi skilled milk

Veggie enchilladas

Goodness, it’s been absolutely freezing today but we braved a trip to Sainsburys as a) we needed a few bits and b) I was absolutely desperate for a change of scenery after being housebound for 10 days…..Made some potato dauphinoise with some cream that needed using up and just had that for dinner (yum!). Full up now so no more food today but will have a drink or 3 to celebrate NYE :-)

1 Alpro Soya yoghurt, handful of Jordans Raspberry Crunch, handful of fresh bluberries

Apple

Portion of Potato Dauphinoise, Quorn fillet

Todays Drink:

2 Snowballs, glass of coffee Baileys

Still very poorly but appetite is strong and I’m following the ICMYT principles to avoid pigging out on the chocolates, biscuits and other goodies left around the house. I weighed myself this morning and it’s another 1lb off which is good. It’s nice to feel full and not deprived and it’s also quite a relief not to feel panicky around food for once.

1 Alpro Soya yoghurt, handful of Jordans Raspberry Crunch

Small bowl of ginger noodles with red onions and tofu

2 small cheese & onion frittatas with a little cranberry sauce

Exercise:

No walking due to chest infection

No white Christmas for me!

Not talking about the snow (which we’ve had in abundance in this part of the UK) but white sugar! Yes, for the first time EVER I’ve sailed through the holidays without a single chocolate, mince pie, cake, bowl of ice cream or huge pile of biscuits and I haven’t even wanted them. True, I’ve been poorly but that’s never stopped me from stuffing my face in the past….no, it’s all down to following the principles of Paul McKenna’s “I can make you thin” - I have eaten when I’ve been hungry and eaten until satisfied and it simply hasn’t left room for the usual empty calories. I’ve lost 6lbs since the 15th of December!

Todays Food:

2 Alpro Soya yoghurts, handful of Jordans Raspberry Crunch, handful of blueberries

Small bowl of ginger noodles with red onions and tofu

2 Alpro Soya yoghurts, pineapple slices

Exercise:

No walking due to chest infection
