I am supposed to fill this section with little pieces of who I am. I am a 23 year who is native to the North and finds herself as a transplant in sunny south Florida. I work in the non-profit sector and am working towards a MA in social work. I am an artist, working with found object, jewelry and painting. For all purposes, this is a blog following my struggles with weight and body image. I worked hard in therapy for years to seperate my self worth from my body image, and now am ready to fully devote my time and mental energy to try and change the way I think, feel, and use food.
