(at least that’s what I tell myself…)

I have pretty much the same goals for both the Spring Focus and the Snack-girl challenges.  I’m aiming for 240 pounds and to get more exercise. For the Spring Focus my focus specifically is to get off my butt more!

Snack-girl started on Saturday (5/8) and Spring Focus started on Sunday (5/9). I did at least a half hour on the Wii both days but didn’t get out for much of a walk. The first week back into th eovernight routine is always hard and I was really dragging by Sunday. Heck, I was dragging on Saturday.

But Monday once I got home from the day shift the dogs got a bit of a walk. Tuesday they got a couple miles and I walked up the hills at a pretty good clip, too. Today was the monthly all staff meeting but the dogs still got a mile.  I did the Wii both Monday and Tuesday as well, but tonight I only managed 9 minutes. I’m just feeling whipped right now. So I think I’ll finish the book I’m reading (Terry Pratchett’s “Nation“) and go to bed early.  I didn’t sleep well at all last night and I need to be rested for the switchover tomorrow.
