I’m back

I’ve been gone for a while.  I’m not sure if anyone noticed, but I got some bad news about 3 weeks ago and it’s hard to get focused again.  I’ve just been real tired and drained.  Anyhoo I found out that my Grandmother has Pancreatic Cancer.  BOOO!!!  But I can’t mope around forever.  Not sure why I’m so drained, but the past couple of weeks I feel like I have narcalepsy  (not sure if I spelled that right).  I’m sooo very tired.  Anyhoo I will get it together soon.

It has been one hell of a week and definitely one hell of a day.  The week was crazy cause I was sick and working from home and not only did I feel bad it felt like everything was going wrong at work.  I didn’t eat anything today unil 2:00 I thought I was going to starve to death.  I gotta go in tomorrow, but it will not be too bad.  Anyhoo I just need to relax before Monday. 

OK to the important stuff.  Worked out on Monday and the got sick.  So yesterday to make up for missing the gym on Wednesday and not really doing anything but staying in my bed or sitting up working I decided to pull out my wii.  My fat butt is so out of shape.  I did 2 or 3 games on the fit and then did 3 songs on just dance 2.  now I did burn over 900 calories, but dag I was sweating and breathing all hard.  It was fun though so I will definitely do that on a regular basis.  Anyhoo good night.

Ok I was sick as a dog today.  I ended up working from home in the morning and sleeping from 2-6.  I didn’t go workout today cause I didn’t want to make anyone else sick and I didn’t want to make myself feel worse.  I hope to get back on track by this weekend.  Either way I shouldn’t be contagious by Monday and plan on getting back in the gym for my class,

OK so I’m feeling good.  Still working out at the Y twice a week with my sister.  I’m going to make me a workout schedule so I can figure out what to do ahead of time.  It’s easier not to do extra when you have so many choices.  I have 30 day shred and shape bikini body bootcamp on reserve at the library.  I also just purchaed the  biggest loser challenge at target. It’s on sale for 19.99.  Couldn’t pass it up.  Anyhoo I’m looking forward to continuing on my journey.  I’m going to get ready to get in the bed.  This time change is throwing me off cause it’s actually early but we have to go by the time.  Goodnight.

OK so went to see Rango with my kids, my sister, and my nephew.  It was pretty good.  I probably could have waited until it came out on video though.  We also went to cici’s pizza. That was pretty good, but the part that cracked me up was even though we had just finished eating the boys still wanted popcorn and a drink, and so did my sister who is trying to lose weight like me.  I was like Lord A Mercy (LAM).  It was a really nice day.  Tomorrow I hope the weather gets better cause I need to go grocery shopping.  I also need to clean and I need to do one of my tapes or the wii.  I have been waking up the last two days with swelling.  I’m not sure what that’s all about.  Anyhoo that’s it for today.

Another wonderful day at the gym.  We did a full body workout and then yoga.  I really like the yoga.  My wrists are bad so I needed to modify some things, but that’s ok.  I’m tired and sore so I’m going to take me a shower and hit the sack.  Goodnight.

Had my day at the Y yesterday.  I swear the lady is trying to kill me.  I found out that we are doing Yoga on Wednesday.  I’m wondering how that’s going to go because my wrists are bad.  But that being said I’m excitecd to try it.  I did hip hop abs today and washed up my dishes.  I plan on doing at least 30 minutes of exercise Mon-Fri and something with the family on the weekends.  My back and neck are hurting a little bit right now.  My shoulders, hips, hell everything hurts.  But that’s ok.  I have the sparkpeople app on my phone so I’m tracking my meals and fitness with that and i can update on the phone or on the computer.  It’s great.  Anyhoo I’m going to get ready to go to bed.  Goodnight

Basketball is finally over.  My son’s team won the Championship.  Go Hornets.  So now I have a few weeks before something else starts up.  I’m going to focus totally on me.  I will be in the gym everyday this week.  I’m still trying to figure out how to do the weekends.  I’m also trying to figure out if I’m going to do classes or get on the treadmill and work up to miles and running.  It’s trial and error at this point.  Anyhoo good night and GO HORNETS!!!

Went to the gym yesterday and surprise it was cycling.  My booty hurts so bad right now I do not plan on taking that class on my own ever.  So now I know that on Mondays we will do a set workout and on Wednesdays we will try new workouts.  I’m excited about that.  Now on to today.  Went to the gym and thought I was going to get a really nice workout and what did I get…..a big fat nothing a bunch of talk and some stretches.  I was ready to sweat and all that good stuff.  Sooo I think I’m just going to find me some classes to take instead.  Right now I need the cardio, cardio, cardio.  Anyhoo hope everyone is doing well.

OK so I had my first session at the Y.  It kicked my butt.  If I’m not feeling it in the morning I will be surprised.  They took no mercy.  But believe it or not I felt good mentally after.  My boys got to go to the pool and they had a ball.  I go back on Wednesday and meet with the nutritionist before the meeting with the personal trainer.  I think I will take the boys back too.  I will probably start goin to the Y even on my off days when school is over since we get out so late.  But until then on the off days I will do my workout tapes and use the wii.  I have the wii fit, and both wii actives.  Not to mention Just Dance 1 & 2 which are the bomb.  I said today was going to be the start of ny weightloss journey and I mean it.  I’m a little nervous about the meal plan, but I’m going to try it out.  I’m usually a picky eater, but my mentality right now is do what you gotta do to get off this weight.  I’m hoping she has some good recipes and I’m willing to try whatever.  So good night everyone and remember to take this one day at a time.
