Tuesday!
General May 5th, 2009i did not like my unofficial weigh in today. my goal for friday is still 197. I guess we’ll see if I can make that… hopefully the no cheese thing along with the watching carbs will really help.. fingers crossed.
breakfast: yogurt (80)
lunch: large salad with tofu, balsamic, sauted mushrooms, some turkey and a tiny bit of pasta ( 400?) (im trying to over estimate my calories so that I dont go over by 1100 cals, especially since i have to approximate everything)
Snack: coffee with some soy milk (20)
dinner: salad with balsamic (50), some green beans (60), small piece of beef, but i didnt really like it (110), 3 roasted potatoes (70), some grilled tofu (75), 4 mini eclairs (EEEEEKKK I KNOW! but instead of ignoring them, which i could do, im counting them and acknowledging that I ate them and they were DELICIOUS!) (170)- total: 535
Snack: coffee with some non-fat milk (20)
cals so far: 1055; appx left: 45–>oops those eclairs did me in. I’ll probably have some coffee tonight and thats it since there isnt really any other good fruit in my house right now…i wish we had some apples or tangerines…hopefully i can just drink water and tea and not think to much about food, since i dont really have any calories left…fingers crossed! let’s go self control!
water: 6 down 0 to go
workout: 45 min elliptical 45 min weights and abs! woohoo!
ugh i snacked tonight def more than i should have..im going to see that tomorrow on the scale…damn…ughh i hate that i do work at night and cant just go to sleep. tomorrow im going to try to brush my teeth at 8. we’ll see if that helps…

Thank you so much for the comment! I am happy to be back too. I am going strong on the eating this week, but with all the stuff in my lungs still I think next week will be a more likely for starting to work out. Well I just wanted to say I am really proud of you!!! You have inspired me to get back on with it too!

Lol - okay, can you keep a secret? Those damn churros! I did end up making them. I made teeny ones (the fell apart sort of, and I couldnt squeeze the dough out of the pastry bag, it was a mess!!) so I did have a couple. Hell, it was Cinco de Mayo!
Just call your eclairs “mexican eclairs” and chalk it up to a celebration!
(See what a bad enabler I am!? haha)
One suggestion - have you ever checked out The Daily Plate to keep track of your calories? There are lots of softwares and websites out there (and I’ve used plenty of them!) but TDP is linked in where people from all over can add foods and I’ve been on there over a year now and I have NEVER, ever had to add a food to their database - even stuff from my dinky little local supermarket chain is there! So you just do a search for what you ate, and it is there! Then you add it to your “plate”. It is really a great tool! Just check it out, see what you think!
