got up this morning and biked to the gym to complete tiny’s challenge this week.

today’s totals: 2 mile round trip bike ride to the gym + 2.65 miles on the elliptical= 4.65 miles today

total before today: 5.5 miles of cardio this week + total = 10.15 miles = GOAL

Thanks so much for putting this challenge together Tiny! I did not want to post a bathing suit photo so it got my ass in gear!! The psychology of the challenge really works and I love having this support network and accountability!  I cant wait to participate in the other challenges.  I’m not sure I can participate in next week’s challenge because it’s finals and then im going out of town, but I definitely look forward to pariticpating in the rest to come! Also, I think it would be great if a) they were cumulative and b) sometimes the challenges included staying on track with food or recording EVERYTHING we eat, or something of that sort…because food accountablilty has definitely been a recent issue for me.  anyways, YAYAYA

i am just going to sleep now since monday night. i did not sleep last night since i was working on a take home exam. nor did i track my food or go to the gym. i will be back on track tomorrow and at the gym

woohoo. so tired.

lunch: sandwich with some turkey and goat cheese, small cup of soup

after gym snack: watermelon

dinner: steak with pesto, ravioli, steamed spinach and a small bite of carrot cake!

snack: part of a delish fancy cupcake store cupcake but im not eating the whole thing at all..just picking at it…and a venti cafe misto (80). i just saw the calories of the cupcake from the cupcake store online and promptly walked the rest of it to my friend’s room for him..I’m so happy i had that self control…my snacking is so in control today…it makes me very happy and empowered. woo hoo

i had the BEST gym workout today. i did 42 minutes on the elliptical– 3 miles total, and then did 35 minutes of weights and abs. and as i was stretching, i did the touching your toes when your legs are together when you are sitting down etc, and FOR THE FIRST TIME ever, I was able to actually hold my toes and hold the stretch!!! i had never been able to do that before!! so! a new flexibility level reached!!! and! i biked to the gym instead of driving which is .9 miles each way, but im not even counting that in tiny’s Workout Miles Challenge this week–so so far im at 5.5 out of my 10 miles completed!! woohooo! and its only tuesday!! and my food is great today and my snacking is totally in control! and on top of everything, my gym buddy/motivator hasnt been able to go recently so my gymming sat, sun, mon and today was all my own motivation!!! double points!!! also, ive been to the gym 4 days in a row including two weekend days! triple points!!!

water: 6 done and still drinking!!! woohoo!

today is going fabulously!! ok off to shower and actually start working!!

lunch: some edemame (120?), beef with broccoli (110), tiny bit of tofu (60) and white rice (115), and 1 bite sized snickers (45)-450

dinner: some chicken and whole grain pilaf

snack: a milkshake..oops!

workout: 35 min (2.5 miles) on the elliptical and 25 minute weights and abs

water: 5 total

just happy im blogging and gymming and being somewhat food concious..

so….ive been slipping on the food stuff, but luckily not slipping on the gym. i went both yesterday and today (2 days on the weekend!). for 35 min of cardio and 35-40 of weights and abs, each days!

but, I really need to get back on the good food track.  I havent been doing horribly, but I could definitely be doing better, with less snacking, etc..so yeah…from now on i will be completely tracking my food and what not from now on…also, i leave for spring break on march 19, so my goal is too hit at least 189 by March 18…today while I was at the gym I really was upset that I had let myself get to over 10 lbs past my lowest weight since august…when I had worked so hard to get there… so im really going to focus these next two weeks on keeping myself on track and healthy even though its ead week and then finals week and not let food take over… then when im away on spring break im going to really watch my food but I know ill be walking aroun a lot, and hten in the spring im really going to focus on food tracking and smart choices and the gym and getting down into the low 170s!!

also, im doing tiny2b’s challenge this weeK!

hi yalls,

i had a final paper due for a class today and therfore didnt sleep last night…yay?…not was so tired today, but hopefully the paper is okay.  i came back after class and slept from 11-5…that was nice. about to go shower now and then try to sleep another 9 or 10 hours tonight.

also, im sick, bad cold and slight sore throat…due to a mixture of two nights of terrible sleep, and biking in the rain to class for two days.  argh.

its raining here like crazy. the one good thing is that i didnt eat much today because i was sleeping and sick hahaha. hopeing to feel good enough tomorrow to go to the gym..

no gym time today because I have to finish a final paper for a class tomorrow, nonetheless  i am going to try and stay as on track as possible today.

The scale has a lower # on it today then yesterday..YAY!

brunch: 1 sandwhich from starbucks (400), 1 grande nf latte (130)-530

snack: a few almonds, some dried apricots and apple rings

total so far: 530    appx left: 570

in the library working all day! yay…NOT.. ugh…im ready for spring break. and its raining my is even lamer..
