long weekend!
General February 15th, 2009hello all!
im currently up in seattle visiting some friends which is great. ive also been working out in the mornings with my friend and only eating basically 2 meals and not snacking since we’ve been so busy with is great. maybe i will have lost 20 lbs by tuesday…not. but at least i dont think i gained ANYTHING and my jeans are pretty loose.
also, im so nervous about this date that i think there’s like a 30% that ill just cancel monday night because im soo scared to go through with it hahaha. yikes!

Hey, lol, so great the pants are loose. I’ve been eating 2 meals and not snacking, too. Concentrating on lots of lean protein and green veggies. You can do this! Who says you can’t look good at your current weight? You know it is mostly about attitude. Stay safe and have fun! If he isn’t worthwhile or doesn’t appreciate you, kick him to the curb! Delita

As a veteran of YEARS of internet dating, here’s my experience, for what it is worth:
1) trust your instincts
2) remember there is no harm no foul if you just don’t like him - you don’t owe him anything except courtesy
3) don’t have more than one glass of wine (or any alcoholic beverage) cause you might find yourself cutting him too much slack (hmmm, maybe the way he picks his nose is really kinda cute)
4) just aim to have a nice evening with good conversation and don’t think beyond that until you have to and
5) know that he has never met anyone as great as you before!

Don’t cancel your date! Just think of it as a practice date. We all need practice! It’s like a training date, you being in training for finding the right guy : )

Do not cancel! You will regret it. tiny is right if it does not turn out just think of it as practice for you real dates. If it does work out great!
