Going to Lose: My Weightloss Journey!

So, much to update on

so i shall do it in list form!

1) yesterday completely out of the blue, two people commented to me about how I look/ my weight loss.  First, a friend I hadnt seen in a really long time was at my house yesterday and when i went to hug him said “you look great!” which was really nice and would have made my day on its own! then i was at work in the afternoon, and one of the people in the office actually approached me and “said, you look great! you’ve lost a ton of weight”, and i kind of felt awkward and said “oh yeah i’ve been going to the gym a lot” obviously not mentioning how much effort i really am putting forth to lose weight. and i realized i definitely do get awkward when people comment on how I look, because i dont really know how to respond.  i absolutely love and appreciate the comments, and it really motivates me that people see the difference, but I dont really know how to respond except saying that i go to the gym more. haha. oh well, that made me really happy!

2) yesterday was not a horrible food day, but not great either just because i decorated/ate some halloween cookies, and just wasnt as vigilant about food as i should be.

3) so, just for this week, i’ve pushed my weigh in until tomorrow, to give myself one more day to drink more water (yesterday water was not on par) and also watch my food more today, since my weight does fluctuate so much from day to day.

4) i havent gone to the gym enough this week because my schedule has just been so hectic/meetings/work/midterms etc.  i was planning on going to the gym today but

5) because i’ve been so busy, and havent been getting enough sleep, i’m getting sick, specifically i’m feeling, exhausted, fatigued and have a sore throat. BLAH and tomorrows halloween and I’m definitely going out for that. so instead of going to the gym today, i’m making an executive decision to take a nap. and i plan on completely getting back to the gym in full force next week, but I really have to focus on getting more sleep and taking care of myself better.

6) i hope to go to the gym at least once if not twice this weekend, on either saturday or sunday (if not both) and also really catching up on sleep, because i know that my lack of sleep really effects my weightloss, my energy, my workouts, and how much i eat and focus. so yeah. my other big challenge this weekend will really be to watch my drinking/eating at halloween and also to watch my eating all weekend.

Food today;

breakfast: tea, coffee with tiny bit of milk (30), and 1 orange emergenC ( 20)- 50

lunch: mushroom soup (200?)

Snack: 1 açai emergenC (25)

Dinner: (slept through it, and not that hungry) 1 piece of a cheese quesadilla (200?)

Snacks: a couple nuts (100) and some pretzels (50), 1 apple (70), turkey (60), and some gummy bears (100)- 380

Total so far: 855–>done, wish i hadnt snacked so much, but i drank a ton of water today which is good and i had a really long nap, which i really think helped me because i dont feel sick anymore. on to another good night’s sleep now! tata for now! halloween tomorrow YAYAY! lets all hope for self control!

It’s hard to handle compliments. Sometimes when people say, wow, you look great, I just say thanks. When people say wow, you’ve lost weight, what are you doing? I’ll try to be funny and say something like starving myself, but it’s worth it, right? haha

You just have to take it and stride. And get used to it, because it’s going to keep on happening as you CONTINUE TO LOSE. Yay, you loser, you.
