waiting for my second ah-ha moment..
General October 3rd, 2008well, whatever I had earlier this year, that helped me lose 40 lbs, well i lost it. i have no self control whatsoever. now i have 4 pairs of size 12 pants that i cant fit into, and im still eating everything as if im skinny and have the metabolism of a gazelle.
i dont even know what i’m going to do. im dissapointed in myself, but that hasnt kept me from eating all of this junk and munching so much at night.
i need a new ah-ha moment..

It’s a rut. Snap out of it! Come on, you can do this.

You just have to figure out what is more important to you. Making a choice to get healthy now, before you get any older. You have a long life to live and living it inside a healthy body will be much more enjoyable for you.

Get rid of the junk. Don’t think about it, just toss it in the trash & march that trash out of your home.
What you’re feeling is a tremendous sense of accomplishment, that’s fully earned. Holy cow, 40 pds is amazing! So you already know that there’s nothing you can’t do & that’s why you’re eating like one of those annoying skinny people who “just can’t seem to gain weight, no matter what I do.”
Unfortunately, while there isn’t a damn thing we really can’t do…or rather, you can’t do since I haven’t lost anything nearly as impressive as 40 pounds…we still can’t change that obnoxious body chemistry of ours. We can speed it up with exercise & good nutrition, but lose those two & the whole system returns to its old self again.
I’ve been there before. Actually deluded myself into thinking I was one of those skinny people “now” that I was losing the weight. But I think I’ll always be a recovering fat chick.
You probably look awesome in those size 12s, so get back into them travelgal! You can do this!

Do you want to gain 40 lbs?

I’m in the same boat. I lost 50 pounds and now I am floundering. Not sure why, there must be some deep seeded reason that I am not putting in as much effort as before.
Bad me!

You can do this!
Take it one step at a time, you body is adjusting and once you get over this, you will reteach your body about food.
I know it isnt easy because i am going through the same exact thing! Am rooting for you!
