If you WANT to lose weight, you can’t have high-calorie sweets- cakes, cookies, candy, or full-fat ice cream- whenever you feel like it. you need to either find a lower-calorie substitute that you can have every day or save the rich desserts for once a week.
Important information for me to follow! Lately I have been indulging whenever I want!
Well- I gained 1.6 @ last wi for WW. I keep messing around with tracking so my results are so/so- Some weeks rock and then I gain- I just went back to look at my goals page and I made 208 on 4/30/09 I am currently @ 202.6 so that means I down about 6 lbs in 2 months! That rate of loss is really slow compared to my other months!
I am re-committing myself to tracking EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth! I am worth the time it takes to track my food! I am also worth it to take better care of myself! I know I can do this!

I am gearing up for a big camping trip this weekend! We are leaving on Friday morning and will be gone until Tuesday- We have a lot planned- we are going to Mackinac island for one day to bike around the island and check out some historic sites, we are going canoeing one day, we are going hiking on a trail with a waterfall, and swimming and fishing too! I have planned healthy meals to take with us so I will be on plan! It will be a great vacation!

Hey all-
I received my acceptance letter yesterday afternoon to the accelerated nursing program I have been working toward! I am freakin’ excited! The cool thing is only 32 students a year get in and it is based on a points system not a waiting list so that means I got in on my first try! :)
Yippie!! We start classes in September and will graduate with ADN in Dec 2010. (14 months)- and can take state boards for RN.
On a weight note- I stayed the same this past weigh in @ 201… So close to 199 yet so far…. :)
Hey all- I meant to post to update how my first week following the simply filling technique (core) went for WW. It was so easy and I loved all the yummy veggies- I lost 3 lbs :) Which made me only 2 lbs away from my next mini goal of 199….
This week is not going as well on simply filling- Why you ask? My body for some reason wants to eat junk! Ugh- I am going to finish this week up strong though and will probably go back to counting points on the following week considering I have had a little break from the counting-
It is hot hear in Michigan- I rode my bike to work but started wishing I hadn’t after I left home. I was sweating up a storm by the time I reached work- I have the AC blasting on me now so I am feeling good now… he he he I heard it will be hotter and more humid tomorrow so I will probably drive if that is the case- I HATE being hot. :P

This past week I haven’t tracked a bit! Honest- It is the worest this week- last week I half-assed it but this week was a total bomb. I tried to count in my head, but we all know how that works out, right?? Ugh-
I can’t keep floundering about like as it wont get me to my goal! I am taking charge of myself today and acknowledging that I don’t want to track points right now so I am switching to simply filling tomorrow at the start of my next week- I will still have to track non filling foods with my extra 35 points- so there will be some counting but not anything major-
I have printed out approved foods for the simply filling technique reviewed my booklet about it and chatted with some gals on the WW website board for simplly filling-
I am excited and working on meal plans and grocery list for the next week- It will be sweet!

Oh, biking to work is rocking… :) I love, love, love it! I ride 20 minutes in the morning (up hill mostly) and 20 minutes in the afternoon on the way home. I also like to ride later in the evenings for fun if I can. I am so glad I got this bike from my mom- I am getting good use of it and getting in some Activity Points too!!

I haven’t really written too much lately- I think it is because I have have ambivilent toward weight loss- I haven’t been tracking that well though I have been keeping up with the exercise(mostly)…… I know this happens to me occasionally and I don’t need to feel like it to track points so I am trying to push myself… My losses @ the scale haven’t really been affected just smaller losses that one gain like 2 weeks ago- I am sooo close to my next goal of 199, I don’t know why I slow myself down like this at times…. Maybe it is my bodies way of saying it needs time to adjust so it would rather lose slowly?? LOL ok, that sounds a bit looney…. More likely I am reverting to bad habits which are more comfortable and “easy” than my newly learned habits….. This kind of attitude just goes to show that I can ever let up on the tracking or I will revert back _ happened many times before, but I am mindful of it now!
I did some new measurements- The last ones were done on April 8-
- L Upper Arm- 15 1/2″ -1/2″
- Rib Cage 37 1/2 “ -1/2 “
- Bust 46 “ -1″
- Upper Tummy Roll- 43 1/2″ -1 1/2″

- L Upper Leg 25″ No Change

My bike trip to work/from work is 25 minutes each way! (uphill on the way there) It is a great workout!

The weekend was wonderful!! The weather wasn’t that great so we decided to go to the Air Zoo(an airplane/space muesum) and it was awesome! My first time going- I really enjoyed it! I have some great pics from the day! later in the evening we went out with some of John’s co-workers. It was fun-
On Sunday- we did laundry and then went to the gym and then saw the new Wolverine movie after I made some yummy dinner.
