Getting Started

Today I weigh 381 pounds. My weight goal is to weigh 175 pounds by May 27, 2012, just before my 31st birthday. I’m planning to post a food and exercise log daily, and a substantive post every Sunday. We’ll see how that goes. This is the second or third time I’ve tried to start a weight loss blog, depending on whether you count a private Livejournal, and probably the seventh or eighth time I’ve really tried to lose the weight. Today is really day one.

  1. I started my blog also today. I would like to keep up with your posts! We are strangers But I feel we can both hold together a certain accountability to get this (weight loss!) done once and for all !

  2. Hi, Sabrina! Yes, we absolutely can do it.

    My plan is calorie counting. I’m tracking on fitday.com for now until/unless I find something better. I’ve tried many other things in the past (fad diets in high school, WW earlier this year) but strict calorie counting is the only thing that works for me. It’s a PITA, but I can do it.

    Day 3 now, and going strong. :)
