Loosin It… Again

LOL..  I guess I should keep my spot so I don’t lose all my hard work!  ;-)  Since my last post… I got together with my old college roommates.  It went great.  They have really grown and changed and it was  a lot of fun to see each other and get caught up.  I found out one of my other roommates got married and had a child, and I thought she was in Nepal, so it was a huge surprise.  I hope to get together with her soon! 

This weekend was really busy.  Sat I made pickles.  Not sure if it is worth the time, hassle and expense, but the deed is done and now we wait to see if they turn out okay.  I changed my mom’s recipe to remove the alum because I could taste it in the pickles.  Very metallic icky taste. 

Sunday we took the boat out.  It was supposed to be nice and sunny, but there were clouds over the lake so it was pretty cool.  DH wimped out so I had to go on the tube with ds.  OMG… my arms are so sore that even my arm pitts ache! 

Monday my friends had the day off so we went on a marathon horse ride.  It was GREAT!!!!  My horse was so good.  He normally is not a very good trail horse, but he is turning into a pretty good trail horse.  He just needed some miles!  The girls that we went with decided to go for a longer ride, so they gave us “directions” out.  LOL… we got so lost.  You should have seen us, sitting there on horse back wishing we had an Iphone, because I am sure they have an “APP” to get us out of there!  We finally ran into a biker who told us which way was North!  So we got out.  I am not too sore from the ride.

Today… I need ot clean house.  It is a disaster and has been horribly neglected over the last few weeks.  I don’t have any work, so basically I don’t have any excuse.  Just need to get my hiney in gear and get it done.  DS is at a farm today with his gma.  It is so cool.  I have never been there, but would love to go with the kids.
