I can’t get anything done! August 6, 2009
I just can’t seem to sit my butt down and get my work done! It is driving me nuts!
A few of my college roommates found me on facebook. I have kind of mixed feelings. I lived with three of them for three years. Two of them we just basically lost track of each other. I had a kid, they didn’t and we drifted. The other got involved in a bad relationship, and it was hard to watch her self destruct so I removed myself from the situation. She has since moved out of state and left the relationship. I had found her before on FB, but never requested to be friends. I guess I was afraid that the situation hadn’t changed much. But she requested to be friends and I accepted. Looking through her pics, I realize that she has her life back on track. So now I am feeling very guilty that I didn’t give her the benefit of the doubt. We are all planning on meeting for lunch on Saturday. I am excited, yet nervous. I knew these three women better than anyone else, and I guess in many ways they know me better than anyone else.
It will be very interesting. I’ll have to let you guys know how it goes! Well the baby is crying so I better go. Have a great day ladies.

Have a good time.. people change, but sometimes they don’t. Just keep your eyes open because FB isn’t always real life.
well…ppl do change….well, maybe not change..but mature, I guess is more accurate. There is nothing written that you have to instantly go back to being the kind of friends you used to be…..like Linda said yesterday in someones blog comments, some friendships have expiration dates….I thought it was very true. But you never know, it could be fun to reconnect. I saw your pic in Tahoe…LOL because someone tagged you, and it showed up on my homepage.
Nice to see you posting. There is nothing wrong with being cautious based on past experience. There are some on FB that have requested friendship and i have declined. Just dont want to go there.
