Monday… me day! May 4, 2009
Morning ladies! I am going to take the day and do some stuff for myself… professionally… not personally! While the buyer of the business tries to figure out what she is going to do about the building situation… I am going to try and build my website. LOL… I have never done one before so I am doing some research first of site that I like. I really need to get some work going. I haven’t done a job since the week before Austin was born. Let’s say, I am a little bit rusty!
Weekend was okay. I didn’t accomplish much other than gaining weight. But that is easy work! DH is whining because he is now up to 235… so he is convinced the scale is wrong. I would love to agree with him, but I think it is just our bad eating habits over the last couple of weeks that are catching up with us. Time to get back on a schedule and back to good food.
Have any of you seen the infomercial for the battery operated weed whacker? I asked DH if he saw it and I told him I thought that would be a great thing for me. We have a huge gas operated one that A) I can’t start… B) you smell like a gas can after you operate it… C) It is adjusted to DH so it isn’t worth it for me to use. So he RUNS out of the room goes upstairs and starts researching. He finds one that he likes that has good reviews and goes out and buys it! ME AND MY BIG FAT MOUTH! It was $180… so now I HAVE to use it! But it is really cool. Lightweight, battery operated, not too loud… I will give it a try today if the weather holds and doesn’t start raining.
I had hoped that I could ride this weekend, but I never got the chance. I went out to the barn to meet a lady who wants to start riding and the barn owner would like me to be there when she rides to make sure she doesn’t fall off or that she is a trustworthy person. She was a talker! I was held hostage for THREE hours by her talking about herself. I just wanted to tell her to be quiet and let me go home! Hopefully she isn’t as chatty when we are riding. I don’t have all day! (LOL… well actually I do… but I have other things to do!)
Well time to quit procrastinating and try and figure out this web development business! ![]()
