Oh, you haven't "blown it." You still had a calorie deficit! That's what counts. Of course the weight gain was just water and the actual food. This will not make you gain anything. Just so long as you get right back on track. And great job ellipticalling like a madwoman! Hey, I lost 3 pounds this week in spite of the Cheesecake factory, where I'm certain I had excess calories, not a calorie deficit. But I did very well, had high calorie deficits, and exercised like a madwoman the rest of the week. So one day won't hurt you.

Glad you are doing well. I always weigh 2-4 pounds more in the evening than in the morning. I don't have specific rules for veggie and protein eating, but I do need to be eating more veggies and I had gotten a little lazy in the protein area, so I need to work on those. Oh, my sickness yesterday was due to the worst cramps I've ever had and associated things. I didn't feel great in the morning, but come lunchtime I felt horrible, and so I left work about 2. I just felt so bad I didn't want to eat, which is rare for me! Came home, napped, watched a video, and finally felt much better by evening. I even did a workout video just before bedtime.

Wow, great job getting to 154.5. Doesn't sound like the taste got you too offtrack. A ladies progressive dinner would be major challenge, and, of course, any dessert you make poses huge challenges - especially if you cut it up yourself before you take it over. I have that problem. If I make bars or brownies or something I cut them up and plate them and shave a sliver off of practically ever slice before putting it on the plate! Somehow I think that 20 slivers have less calories than 3 whole pieces - crazy. But you are getting so close to goal! I had a girls weekend this weekend (Mom, Aunt Cindy, Marla, and Lindsey came) and it didn't involve the world's healthiest food choices, but I did pretty well - I'll blog about it tonight - even lost despite the Cheesecake Factory - and, yes, I did eat an entire piece of Coconut Cream Cheesecake - definitely their best!

Looks like you are doing well. And your weight is going down. It is so good to be in new territory. I'm very, very close to new territory myself. I have just updated my blog. My lack of posting was actually not a bad sign, thankfully - I was on track, just a little too busy.

I was wondering if you were gone for the weekend. Glad to see you posting. Travelling is ever so hard. I totally agree. I'm very fortunate right now not to be travelling for another 4.5 weeks until camp, which will be a total diet disaster. And I"ll be gone for a whole 7 days. I know it's frustrating to be treading water. I did that since December! I hope I'm finally actually making some progress, although I still have a couple pounds to go before I'm where I was at the beginning of December, which for me takes a week or two. Good job getting back on track today and not letting the one weekend turn into a bad week. And you had a serious calorie deficit today! I know what you mean about the workouts - they do affect your weight so little compared to the eating. I lose a little more than half a pound a week due to working out. Oh, the note on my board is from Jason. Yes, he is completely aware of my weight loss efforts, which is very helpful. Basically, I had started to make more little mentions of weight loss related things here and there. Then about a month or two ago when I was at my lowest point (lowest point emotionally/psychologically that is, not lowest weight!) I kinda had a unplanned deeper "discussion" with him about it. I say "discussion" but it was more of a ten minute monologue with me explaining how I felt like I tried everything and how important this was for me - just to prove to myself that I could do it, not even as much for the actual appearance/smaller size sake. He didn't really say much. Not sure what you would say to that. But he has been very supportive (not that he was ever particularly unsupportive - he just didn't really understand). We are going jogging together an average of 5 days/week which keeps me honest about actually doing the jogging, not just walking. And whenever we eat at his house or go out he is conscious of what we be good for me to eat. Last week he had his family and me over for dinner and he had a high calorie dessert but he also made sugar-free jello! Wasn't that sweet!? I think I'm rambling now. Anyway, can't wait to hear how the rest of your week goes.
