Here’s a tip: tan in a can? Very hard to work with. I have been trying to ’spray on’ a tan on my legs. This morning, I looked like a 2-legged skunk - a wide white strip down the back of each leg. Ok, I thought, I can fix this….huh. Now I look like I have been slogging through mud puddles.
I have been using the gradual facial tan/moisturizer and that has been more succesful…
The whole reason behind this, aside from the fact that we have had a grand total of 4 days of sunshine since July 1, is that since I had a cancerous spot removed from my nose leaving me with a wicked scar, I have not gone outside without a thick layer of high powered sunscreen on every inch of exposed skin. Still, I dream of sporting that beach baby tan ( as if I didn’t have red hair and green eyes). So I am hoping for magic in a bottle. As the woman said, “It must do SOMETHING or they couldn’t charge $25 an ounce for it!”
Who says we don’t believe in magic anymore?

I know what you mean, TJ. I haven’t had any skin cancer but I’m knocking on 60 and I decided I’m too old to be getting suntans anymore. I’ve tried some of the creams and they can get pretty gross. Wish I could afford those spray-on tans that they do where they spray paint a tan on your bod!

I have tried 2 brands of these products - both high end expensive ones, and felt that … well, it wasn’t worth it. The Lancaster product was less stripey but none of them smell very good - and I decided Pale is Prettier.
