morning weight: 183 (!!!!!)
exercise yesterday: 60 minute power walk
sugar: nada, although it was a struggle
This makes no mathematical sense, if you believe in ‘a calorie is a calorie’, however, it seems to fit the carb-sensitive theory. According to fitday, I am well, well, below the calorie balance required to lose weight but instead the number is going up, and quite rapidly. However, the spike does coincide with a jump in the amount of bread I have been eating. On Saturday, for instance, I had 6 slices, after not eating bread for about two weeks, really. I am going to cut it out (bagels and crackers too) and I am going to tell Sailorboy I can’t eat bread, and see what happens.
And just to add misery on misery, I recorded my measurements and was shocked at my waist size. Shocked. The last time I was this fat (about 18 years ago) my proportions were very different, I seem to recall. More of a classic pear shape (read: big big hips). Now the fat seems to be collecting in my gut. Welcome to middle-age, I guess.
I can already tell this is going to be a *great* day.
