Ok, this cannot continue. I am having real problems in the evenings. I just stuff my face, drink wine too frequently…today I feel sick to my stomach from all the food I ingested last night. It was so bad, but one good thing, at a certain point I was able to stop myself and right then I threw it all out. No leftovers there for me this morning. Thank the deities.
My den is finished and can now be my exercise room, and I dug out all the dvds I had stashed somewhere. My ankle is no longer an excuse for not moving.I have also changed the way I am using the food log program and I think that will help too.
Retox (ree-tox) v. To go back on your New Year’s resolutions and do the opposite of the goals you set for yourself. Yep.I am back up to 183.4, that’s 10 lbs since before xmas and in the WRONG direction. Definitely have to get control of the variables and get turned around.
=========================
It is -20C with the wind chill out there, and I am dressed like the michelin tire mascot but I am headed out for some outdoor exercise. I have dumped all the crap out of my fridge, locked up the wine cellar…grrrl on a mission.

I know different things work for different people but here are a few ways I keep myself from eating in the evenings:
1. Brush my teeth
2. Shut out the lights in the kitchen and actually say outloud “Kitchen’s closed.”
3. Drink Diet A&W Rootbeer if I’m wanting something sweet.
4. Go to bed early if possible
5. Save a snack for evening. Generally it’s a sugar free pudding cup. My favorite is Hunts chocolate, it’s awesome!
Good luck, night time eating is tough.

Good changes lady! Now you’ve got a place to do your exercising and it’s right in the house so no more excuses right?
I love the idea.
Yep, retox is in order - I agree.
You can do this!
I’ve been eating a big fuji apple to quell cravings. It’s not always pleasant - who wouldn’t rather have something horrible to eat - but it works. How about that?
Also keeps you lookin’ as sweet as you are darlin’!
Let’s do this thang!!!!

Hey but you are still here and you are still making positive assessments and changes. You can do this! My biggest think is to identify the foods that cause cravings and eliminate them. Then, make sure I eat enough good food on time, especially protein. No cravings, no collapses of willpower. Even the occasional bite off plan doesn’t throw me when I’m on target on these. You are doing this! Re-tox! lol Delita
