I am in denial. I am not going to even discuss anything related to premenopause. All I will say is that I am going to save a lot on my heating bill this winter.

Feels good to update fit day and get back on track. Son #1 is cooking every night, so I have to lobby for veggies and fruit.  Other than that, he is doing a good job. I will be spoiled.

Finally got back into walking last night and it felt GREAT. It was cold and crisp and bright, with the fresh snow everywhere. I was dressed for it though, and once I got up a little speed didn’t mind it at all. With all this cleaning and re-organizing, I have hauled out the exercise equipment, mats and dvds I have collected and I am working up to using them. I also have an extensive diet and exercise (’scuse me….lifestyle….) book and magazine collection.  If knowledge is power I should look like Drew Barrymore.

K, off to lunch and then I will force myself to be productive.

Winter storm kept me home this weekend. Lots of snow and my little car do not a happy road trip make, so we postponed the whole thing. It was -18C PLUS wind chill, yuck. I had to dig out my snow pants and toques and big mitts and scarves. I am actually pretty well supplied…lol. Son shoveled the driveway, I dug out all the planters and put everything away. It was a graphic lesson in the perils of procrastination. And those poor, poor tulips bulbs.  Maybe I will just give them to the squirrels.

Tonight I take back the dog walking chore, even though the animal has bonded to my son. I think it’s because they have the same personality but he (Son) finds that vaguely mean, even while he admits there might be a kernel of truth. Anyway, when dog is awake he is no more than 10 inches away from Son, no matter what. If there’s a door between them dog whines until they are reunited. I am finding it very funny.

Son also helped me put up a curtain rod, move furniture around and clean out a closet. Loverboy stayed at the mine for the weekend due to the weather, so I just puttered around. I enjoyed it a lot.
