Spent the last few days shaking off a cold so have been cocooning. Tonight I took the dog for a long jaunt around the local high school track. I figured out how fast I would have to be walking to hit somewhere around 4-5 miles an hour cruising speed, I think I maintained it for one time round, then just intermittently after that. It is more comfortable than running. I just can’t get past feeling like an uncoordinated gawky fat girl when I run.

I should go to the gym soon and test my theories of space and time on the treadmill.

Alright, <sigh> I have started the darn tickers over again. I am so sick of not being able to move them. Well, at least a ‘hover’ weight of 173 is better than 183. By hover weight I mean - up 1, down 2, up 3, down 2 - scale torment.  I was at 167 for about 5 minutes in August…that was fun. Back to carefully counting exercise and calories - energy in, energy out. How come it always sounds so simple.

I was 167 about 10 years ago! Take the perks where you can find them!
