tuesday FOOD UPDATE

September 8th, 2009

weight: 156.2

Home from camping (in the rain x 3 days. yay) and late for work. Fat. Having problems finding something that I can wear to work because? Fat. Also, did I mention late to work?

breakfast: coffee and a granola bar

lunch: small popcorn at the movie’s. which, okay, “small” in movie terms is a lot of friggin’ popcorn.

dinner: medium-sized bowl of chicken curry soup, one slice of wheat toast, dessert=a granola bar and a 100-cal cup of yogurt.

I am working from home tomorrow, which means I can run. “Can” and “will” are not the same thing, though, and I really need to get my ass in gear. Have I mentioned I am running at 5k Saturday morning with a friend? Yeah. Should be interesting.

wednesday

September 2nd, 2009

weight: 151.8, yay

breakfast 1/2 a bagel with peanut butter and coffee

lunch: sushi and later a 100-cal cupcake pack

dinner: tba UPDATE: a salad. and diet coke.

exercise: nothing

stress level: enormous

monday

August 31st, 2009

weight: 153.6 Tomorrow is DD10’s first day of school, but I am declaring summer officially over RIGHT NOW. It’s nose back to grind stone, asap

breakfast: so far - high protein granol bar (10g!) post run and water, will have coffee eventually

lunch/dinner: tba

LUNCH: UPDATE: bacon double cheeseburger and small fries from Wendy’s. OK, TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE.

exercise: I had 30 minutes to run, so I ran for 30 minutes. Then I walked around the block for five minutes to cool down and did about 10 minutes of stretching. The run, including cool down walk, maps out to 2.57 miles with a time of 35 minutes, which = 14 minute/miles, which sounds about right with the five minute cool down, I guess. But I guess I really can’t expect better with the complete apathy I’ve been displaying towards exercise.

I have people waiting for me to deliver work RIGHT NOW so the fact that I put that side and went for the run earns me a mental pat on the back.

When I have downtime today, Im going to try to figure out if I can access Word Press with my mobile phone in order to Nazi myself with the food logging. Is anyone mobile blogging to 3fc? If so, enlighten me, please.

this party? is over

August 31st, 2009

I’m coming back tomorrow with a weigh-in, a run and an eat-no-shit challenge for myself.

See you Monday morning.

tuesday

August 25th, 2009

weight: 152.4. yay. yesterday was apparently a freak anamoly.

breakfast: coffee and a granola bar

I’m still staycationing, but thought I’d let ya’ll know that laziness won out over hungriness last night and I did not get up and forage for snacks. Yay!

monday night

August 25th, 2009

It is 11:35 pm and I am starving. This is so not good.

lunch: about 3/4 of a corndog (leftover from a kid) and a small piece of leftover pork roast

dinner: 1/2 a grilled chicken and veggie foot long, snack sized bag of Cheetos.

WHY AM I SO HUNGRY! ACK!

monday

August 24th, 2009

weight: 153.6. seriously.

breakfast: 1/2 a banana, 1 high protein granola bar post-run and lots of water

exercise: ran 3.5 miles and made pretty good time of 42:35. First mile time was 11:33 which was great since 1/2 of it was uphill. Last mile time was 12 minutes, which is a testament to how bad my endurance is, considering it was 1/w mile downhill. The 2.5 miles on the track (1/2 mile uphill to get there, 1/2 mile downhill to get home 10 laps on the track) was all done at a steady 3 minutes per lap with maybe a 15 second deviation here and there.

The good news is, my body feels good. No aches, no pains, no knee creaks etc. The bad news is my breathing was labored and I feel sluggish while running, so I need to get back into a good routine and get my endurance back up. I am on track for an October 1/2 marathon, though I’m not devoted to the idea just yet.

I’m still on my “stay-cation” with my grownup daughter and grandbaby visiting, so I won’t be posting much, but I wanted to get my run logged in. Eventually I am going to go through old posts and update my 1000 miles ticker. Wherein eventually = I am so probably never going to do that, but it sounds like a good idea.

Also, I did a 1/4 mile cool down walk, not counted in my time but I want to add it on here so I will remember to include it in my 1000 miles ticker!

xoxo, chickies!
