Detox

Well, my absence from 3fc is ending. Beginning Monday, I am going on a medically supervised detox diet and I am going to use this blog to track my food. 500 calories a day. Goal: not kill anyone. Chance of success: zero on the not killing anyone. 100% on the weight loss.
This weekend will be spent “fat loading.” That? I can do. Then Monday begins the 500 cal diet and the hcg homeopathic drops, plus an assload of supplements and other homeopathic stuff.
I will say this, I have had chronic stomach aches since childhood. I started seeing a naturopath one month ago, started on some unda drops and probiotics, and did not have ONE SINGLE STOMACH ACHE for the month. Went back for my one month follow up, reviewed my lab work, and the doc gave me the green light for the detox.

Breakfast. One cup coffee and a fiber one bar
Lunch. Two boiled eggs, six club crackers, handful of kettle chips and a granola bar. Iced tea.
Dinner. Went to Burgerville (fast food) and had a grilled chicken sandwich, waffle fries and a diet coke. IT’S NOT SETTLING VERY WELL. YUCK.

lunch: JC fish and chips and JC toffee cookies
dinner: small portion of broiled salmon, small baked potato with low fat sour cream and big green salad, followed by a granola bar and a cup of coffee
exercise, nothing but work. all. frigging. day.
LOST WEEKEND/FOOD BENDER:
Friday dinner - three slices of meat-o-riffic pizza, two pints of beer, shared brownie ala mode
Saturday - brunch at a soul restaurant of fried catfish, coleslaw, fries, sweet potatoes, brisket, diet coke. dinner of a small portion of DD’s chinese take out chicken and chow mein noodles
Sunday - breakfast was a granola bar and coffee, lunch was coffee and more coffee, dinner was broiled salmon and wild rice with three pints of beer.
No exercise, lots of work. Blech.

lunch: JC chicken marsala
snack: yogurt with granola. UPDATE. more snacks, yay. Just had a jc vitamin bar and handful of kettle chips
dinner: TBA, but going to happy hour with DH. happy hour will be my downfall evermore.
exercise: going to a dance class with DH after happy hour, so that will be fun and burn a few calories.

OTHER: I made a new years resolution to eat vegetarian one day per week and spend no money one day per week. Sounds easy, but hello, have you met me? Anyway, today is my vegeterian day and so far I am rocking the shit out of it.
In other exciting news, I bought a groupon for a 21-day detox weight loss program and I am totally excited to do this. I called today and got scheduled for Feb. 14, so happy valentine’s day to me. I’ll be doing this program, can’t wait. http://www.insightstohealth.net/clinic_programs

Weight: screw daily weigh ins
Breakfast: coffee, jc vitamin bar and jc snack bar
Lunch: jc enchilada lunch meal and a pear
Dinner: took ds22 and dd12 to happy hour where I had a pint of beer, half of dd12s cheeseburger, some of her fries, a shared order of hummus and pita btw the three of us and a shared brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Oh well, at least I had a lite lunch
Exercise: nada. Today and tmrw are rainy full time work days so I don’t plan on exercising until Friday.

breakfast: coffee with fat free half and half and a JC yogurt granola bar
lunch: dark green salad with fat free dressing and low fat feta and sunflower seeds, four club crackers, a JC panini, a handful of kettle chips, iced tea
dinner: two tacos comprised of crunch shell, lean ground beef, homemade beans, lettuce, tomato and guacamole. Also had a handful of chips with refried beans. I made the beans by tossing the leftover red beans from yesterday’s dinner (when I made red beans and rice) into the blender until creamy. TALK ABOUT GOOD.
exercise: walked 3 miles today and 3 yesterday.
VICTORY: I wanted a regular granola bar, but there were none in the pantry. Instead, there was a half-full bag of Sweet Maui Onion Potato Chips. I took the chips out of the pantry, and then put them back, and am eating a fucking jenny craig fucking yogurt bar right now. Which? Is blech. BUT I’M NOT EATING CHIPS FOR BREAKFAST, and for the state that I my diet has been in (see 163.8 above), it’s a VICTORY.
2011 GOAL: walk/jog/bike 500 miles this year. it’s doable, but will I do it?

Seriously? Is it still Monday? Seems like after a day like this we should get a skip to Wednesday pass.

lunch: JC turkey burger and four ritz crackers, iced tea
snack: yogurt
dinner: chili dog and handful of doritos. and then 1/2 of DD12’s chili dog when she PITCHED A FIT because her HOTDOG FELL APART. Are you kidding me? Preteen hormones HELLO.
No exercise. But, hey, no crap binging and NO CANDY so boo-fucking-yah.

Went to Jenny Craig Saturday morning
Weight: 165.2, it had been two months since my last weigh in and I gained 3.something. Could be worse.
Celebrated return to JC by eating not one but two bags of M&Ms. And by “bags” I mean pounds.
Monday is back on plan day. Send prayers. GOAL: 150 lbs by my birthday in mid February. That sounds doable, right?
Also? Have not been on this site for a while and I had 170 spam comments waiting for my “approval.” WTH?
