weight: 153. WHAT THE HELL? I hardly ate yesterday. Seriously.

breakfast: nothing

lunch: healthy choice entree, 80-cal pudding snack pack

dinner: tba

exercise: salsa dancing tonight… yay!

    A lot of time there is hidden salt in restaurant food, that probably accounts for the weight gain. Drink tons of water today and it will go away soon.

    The biggest challenge with weighing daily is that you see how little relation the scale variation has with what you’re really doing.

    I confess to weighing daily right now, but I only track (and write down) once a week.

    My weight from day to day can easily vary by about 4 pounds and most of the time there is no real reason for the changes - I lose if I eat too much, gain if I eat little and work out. The longer term trend of a week (or more) are usually a pretty accurate reflection of what I’m doing.

    I think scales should come with a disclaimer that you have to sign, saying that if you are going to get on it once a day (or more) you have to agree to not freak out with the upwards swings…
