tuesday recap

I don’t know how “effective” these little recaps are with regard to actually tracking my food. All it does is make me feel guilty after the fact. But here goes…

weight: 151.8 SHUT UP
breakfast: skipped it, did have a cup o’ coffee at the rehab clinic office when I took DS20 for his PT.
lunch: two FRIED chicken wings and a large salad, diet coke, followed by half of a pc. of chocolate cake. I should mention that the piece of cake was the size of a baby’s head
dinner: 1/2 of a FRIED chicken breast, a diet coke, the rest of the baby’s head slice of cake, coffee
exercise: ran 3 miles in 35 minutes (woot woot!) and then biked 7 miles in 27 minutes (kind of less wooty, but whatever)

MILESTONE EVENT: Was driving home from son’s PT appt and needing some lunch since it was noon and I had skipped breakfast. I was alone. PERFECT FAST FOOD OPPORTUNITY. And yet? Nothing sounded good to me. So I did not drive thru and get fast food. THIS IS A BIG DEAL FOR ME, FOODWISE.

But, alas, I totally blew the momentary step forward with two steps back by going to the grocery store, buying salad fixings and a few other essentials, and walking out with 8 pc. of fried chicken. WHAT CAN I SAY, IT WAS ON SALE! So that’s where the fried chicken came from. Luckily, it fed me and DD10 and her friend for lunch as well as DH, DD10 and myself for dinner. Hey, that’s a lot of bang for your buck when you get a chicken for $4.99 LOL.
