OK, just some bitching and a food log and then I am going TO BED.
Did not weigh in this morning. Because? SICK AS A F*ING DOG. Allergies? Head cold? Who knows. But today it really was relentless. Plus this was a work from home day in which I actually had a HUGE amount of work to do and my computer decided to just not work. That’s all. Just not going to work. So a job that should have taken me 3-4 hours took ALL DAMNED DAY. So not a happy camper.
Also, can I just say. Fireworks? Already so over it. Some friggin’ kid on my blog got his hands on an assload of loud shit and has been going at it ALL EVENING.
OK. Now for the food:
Breakfast: ham/pear/brie crepe and coffee
Lunch: one slice of leftover pizza and about 20 lbs of chocolate covered pretzels.
Dinner: 1/2 of DD10’s subway sub, which was italian, plus two subway chocolate chip cookies, plus another 20 lbs of the delicious/evil chocolate pretzels
Exercise: rest day
To recap: a whole day without a single veggie in it, can’t breathe through my nose, head is pounding, work is backlogged and some asshead kid is doing fireworks outside.
Are we having fun yet?

I’ll trade you the firewords kids for the idiot on my block who took the muffler off his truck and thinks he needs to go somewhere every 15 minutes starting at about 8 pm.

I just got over that head cold… yuck. Good Luck! I had a question for you too. I’m looking into training for a half marathon and wanted to ask you how long you trained before yours? I, of course, got the bright idea that I really wanted to do one this year and the only one in my area is in September. It freaks me out a little that it’s so close but really it’s about 11 weeks. Any advice would be great!

Yeah but your breakfast sounded really yummy. So there’s that.
Really looking forward to the marathon/half marathon decision. We all have a lot to learn from you on reaching goals and where to go from there and how to know where the line will be drawn and how to keep it interesting after goals have been met and all that. Enlighten us, please.
