weight: running late for work, did not weigh in, which is probably for the best after last night’s Rescue Me gluttony

breakfast: remember the part where I was running late? that’s my excuse. coffee and a chicken biscuit and hashbrown from McD’s. IT WAS DISGUSTING and hopefully will keep me from driving thru there again for a long, long time. But? I ate it anyway. All of it.

lunch/dinner: tba

LUNCH UPDATE: healthy choice meal, diet coke and three, yep, count ‘em, three chocolates from the assorted box from last night.

exercise: training schedule calls for 35 minute run, so I am going to the gym to hit the treadmill, probably followed by using the gym bike as well for a few miles. Goal is run three, bike seven.

EXERCISE UPDATE: Went to the gym and ran 34 minutes - 3 miles, woot! Ran 5.3 mph x 20 minutes. Then I did some speed work (holla!). Ran five sets of 6.0 mph x 1 minute and 5.0 mph x 1 minute. Then finished off the three miles at 5.0 mph for a total of 34 minutes, 3 miles. Walked a quarter mile to cool down. Then hopped on a bike and biked 7.75 miles (31 minutes). Boo yah!

Training group is doing a 10 miler on Sunday morning at 6:55. I am really not feeling the love for the long distance runs anymore.

    Geez! sounds like you might prefer to train for a triathlon now?!

    I wish there were more occasions when a “boo yah!” would be appropriate for something I’ve written in my blog…but “felt like napping, so instead I ate” is hardly a “boo yah!” kinda report.

    Sometimes a little run-in with the foods we feel we are sacrificing (Mc D’s) makes us realize it’s not such a sacrifice after all. Glad you at least paused enough while eating it to realize it wasnt so good.

    Your workouts are amazing!
