breakfast: coffee before run and then a banana waffle with peanut butter and two glasses of water after run

lunch/dinner: tba

exercise: training schedule called for 40 minute run. I dropped off DD10 at camp and headed out on foot from there to check out the new trailhead that has been under construction for forever. Plan was run 20 minutes, turn around and run back. It took me 17 minutes to get to the trailhead, and then once I was on the trail it was really nice so I ran for 25 minutes. Then I got the BRIGHT IDEA to follow what looked like a path up out of the trail (which is in a ravine) to head back on the road. So I ran for 25 minutes, walked/climbed for 3 minutes up a steep embankment and then ran back to the school. Did a two minute walk around the parking lot to cool down.

So total was 45 minute run - 25 minute run/3 minute walk/15 minute run/2 minute walk. Total distance 3.65 miles.

Sunday was running club. We did eight miles. I finished in 1 hour 50 minutes. I took a couple of one minute walk breaks to drink water, and I was pretty much moving in slow mo, but whatever, got that fucker done.
