Food and such, 7/28

Ugh! I am up 2 pounds on my “unofficial” scale at home.  I have two days to at least get back to where I was pre-camping before my JC weigh in, or else I’ll have gained and that is NOT ACCEPTABLE!  At JC I have a little chart with my weight on a bar graph with colored lines and to have one of them going in the WRONG DIRECTION will freak me out.  So now I must not eat.

Well, I’ll eat a little bit, but only good stuff.  Which actually sounds quite easy to do because I ate so much CRAP on the camping trip that none of it appeals to me right now.

Breakfast: JC cereal, can of diet coke

Lunch: Food plan?  What food plan?  I got hungry at 12:20 and like a little miracle my phone rang at 12:21.  Guess what?  There’s a new cajun restaurant in town, open for lunch!  By 12:45 we were there.  I had a WHOLE shrimp poboy (when half would have been fine, believe me), a few bites of gumbo, 1/2 a small order of red beans and rice and 1/2 a small order of bread pudding with sauce.  And a diet coke, must not forget the diet coke.  NEW PLAN FOR THE DAY:  Eat a salad for dinner and go for a long ass run.

Dinner:  Salad: romaine lettuce, croutons, a sprinkle of parmesan, handful of almonds, 1/2 a grilled chicken breast and fat-free vinagrette. 

Exercise: GOAL: too late for a morning run, so maybe I’ll hit the tready this afternoon.

    Good god, every blog I read somebody has been eating something good and by good I mean anything I don’t have on hand right now so I’m hungry as hell! There’s nothing here to eat. WAH!

    Did ya finally jump on the old dreadmill? :) get that long ass run?

    Good story…I’m sure despite the cajun snafoo, there’ll be a happy ending to this one.
